National Science Week held from 26th Feb- 2nd March 2024.
26th Feb (Day 1 )
On the first Day, an open view session for the significance of National Science Day was conducted for postgraduate students where all the students shared views and appreciated the contribution of scientists in R & D.
27th Feb (Day 2)
Interactive Discussion with Sister in Charges of all ICU wards of CIIMS Hospital under Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Project followed by Felicitation of all the sister in Charges for their contribution in research project for CSF Sample Collection.
28th Feb (Day 3)
Visit of Dr. Geeta Jotwani, Senior Deputy Director General, ICMR at CIIMS-ARC as a chief guest on National Science Day to deliver a Guest talk, Interact with our scientists for future funding and felicitation of few of our CIIMS staff (scientific and non-scientific) through her.
29th Feb (Day 4)
A Poster Presentation session was held during the National Science Week where a few of CIIMS-ARC Staff Presented their research work to trainees, Skill Development students, and dissertation students under the capacity building wing and also two stalls were arranged for spin column based DNA extraction kit and Brucella Lateral flow assay under BIRAC Grant by Caregenix Diagnotech Pvt. Ltd.
1st March (Day 5)
Visit of Pathology and Physiotherapy staff of CIIMS Hospital at the Research Centre for interactive discussion on road map for future research to save lives.
2nd March (Day 6)
Visit of Underprivileged children and students from Padma Shankar Foundation, Navegaon (Deshmukh) Village in the presence of Dr. Nandini Deshmukh, Founder, Padma Shankar Foundation.
