We at CIIMS-Advanced Research Centre organized a one day workshop for Engineering students and faculty members. This workshop was focused on filling the gaps between engineering field and medical sciences, and to plan for ways to merge these two sectors for a brighter future. We were genuinely overwhelmed seeing all the enthusiastic participants at the workshop from engineering background.  

Students gained insights on “AI: an emerging tool”, Molecular techniques through they can utilize their skills to invent a new tool for diagnosis. A talk on “How engineers and Scientists can work together” was also delivered to encourage students for joining hands in the research field through a collaborative point of view. This workshop, merging two diverse and ever changing field was aimed at expanding knowledge at the interface of clinical and academic techniques with the support engineering technologies.
