The AMR Stewardship Drive 2025 is an industry-led multi-city campaign organized by CII-FACE in collaboration with INFAH as the knowledge partner, and supported by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India. The Nagpur session, held on 11th August 2025 at Nagpur Veterinary College in association with the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, focused on strengthening awareness around responsible antimicrobial use, preventive animal health practices, and bridging knowledge gaps among farmers, veterinarians, para-vets, and fisheries professionals. Key discussions included rapid diagnostics and surveillance, ethnoveterinary medicine in AMR containment, and responsible antibiotic use with proper recording practices, alongside a student collage-making competition on the theme “Be Antibiotic Smart: The Future is in Your Hands” to encourage youth engagement and awareness.
