To create the bridge between the researchers and companies, CIIMS-ARC has established Technology Transfer Wing. This wing will take care of Research products, whether its diagnostic product, reagents developed by scientists should reach to the common people through companies. At present, despite a lot of technologies developed by scientist and researchers in the lab, they do not move into level 2 i.e. for the process of validation and then commercialization. This gap will be reduced through this wing. “In this wing, CIIMS-ARC has included members and owners of different companies, who had shown interest to be part of this venture and are in the process of involving new companies including international companies on this wing. “The developed product/kits at the Bench translated to Bedside for accurate diagnosis ultimately for better treatment”. The technology transfer wing was established with the focus of bringing these developed kits to the commercial level, so that they eventually reach all corners of society. CIIMS-ARC has a general aim on the business proposal for facilitating the commercialization of products developed by the CIIMS-ARC, Nagpur and to collaborate with several commercial companies to build CIIMS commercial Network in relevant companies.
