1- Day Workshop on wastewater surveillance- A tool to predict future epidemics
CIIMS-Advanced Research Centre organized a free one-day workshop for Graduation and post-graduation students under the DBT- INSACOG Project on 29th December 2023. This workshop aimed to exposure Wastewater because it is an emerging factor that tells us about the upcoming pandemic. We were genuinely overwhelmed seeing all the enthusiastic 11 participants at the workshop. The workshop was inaugurated in the august presence of our Chief Guest Dr. Rima Biswas Mondal, Principal Scientist at CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur. The workshop organizing team at CIIMS-ARC, comprising Ms. Rima Biswas, Mr. Sushrut Kulkarni, Ms. Akshata Nandanwar, and Ms. Pooja Lanjewar, and is led by renowned scientist Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap, serving as the principal investigator and co-investigators Dr. Amit Nayak and Dr. Aliabbas Husain.
